bile

This is the drainage fluid from the liver. It is made from the hepatocytes (liver cells) and the altered by the cells of the bile ducts.

it performs 2 functions:

1. It facilitates the outflow out of the by products made by the liver.

It transports bile acids into the bowel. Here the bile does its job of helping to take what we eat and make it soluble (able to be dissolved in certain fluids of our bodies).
