Does anyone in the UK know if the secondary drug that can be used with Urso, called Livdelzi, is available yet in the UK? And if so, is it available on a regular NHS prescription?

As far as I know, it went on the market everywhere the end of summer. I would encourage you to reach out to The PBC Foundation to be sure. It's more commonly known as Seladelpar.

Sorry Cascade35, I have not heard of Livdelzi, let alone have it prescribed. How is it meant to help?

If you are a non responder to Urso Acid or your symptoms get significantly worse, a second line medication will be added to your daily intake if suitable to your needs. Livdelzi is now available in America and I had thought it could be the medication we might get here in the UK next year. But the new drug that has been UK government approved is Elafibranor and specifically for PBC patients. Not sure when it will be available though
