First time having any abnormality on my ultrasound for PBC check up. I was diagnosed about 7 years ago labs mostly within normal range with slight elevations in liver function here and there. On urso, have bloating and a little weight gain. I am wondering if anyone has this result and did they feel sick or go down hill quickly after this stage? I am of course waiting to hear what my liver doctor has to say.

Even as a nurse, I hate when results have all those big words in them.

As far as I can tell, it means that your ultrasound showed more light colored tissue in your liver than normal. This an often be a sign of a fatty liver. a chronic liver disease (in our case PBC). Those results can sometimes indicate other auto immune diseases such a thyroid issues. I know it's hard not to worry. Just try to write all your questions down before your visit. Don't anticipate problems..... hang in there.
