I ask every Monday what you've done for yourself over the past week or so. This can be something small such as taking a nice bubble bath or larger - going away with friends. We have to come to realize that we need to take care of ourselves too. We are naturally care givers.... we do for others and not always for ourselves.
Do you have trouble taking the time for yourself? Why do you think?

I had a flare up of my Diverticulitis last week and instead of pushing myself to do stuff and go to my exercise classes, I rested and today l feel better.
That is a perfect example of self care! Good for you.... so often we make ourselves feel guilty of not 'getting it all done'. We matter enough to just stop and do what our body needs. Glad you feel better.
I decided to skip a spin class early Saturday morning to give me a slower morning before heading out for a coffee. It was lovely and needed. I’ve also booked hair appointment for this week - I love visiting hairdressers, sit and relax , read and drink tea or coffee.. a couple of hours to sit! How about you Donna? Did you do anything nice for you?
Changing a routine can lead to a day just the way we want it to be for us. You know, I'm not sure I did do anything for myself this past week. I will have to be better about that.... thanks for the reminder.
Do one thing nice for you - meet a friend for coffee, watch a tv programme you like or go have a wash and blowdry at your hair salon. I’ll be checking up on you lol
I know that we all need a reminder to take time for ourselves. At least if we are aware of our need to be kind to ourselves, it's a good start towards doing it. 😊
