I can't even begin to imagine how this decision to no longer offer Ocaliva to European patients will impact their lives. Many patients take this because of not being able to tolerate Urso or being a partial responder to it.
Dr. Gish is truly a defender of what he knows is best for the PBC community. We can only pray that 'those who be' come to think otherwise about denying use of this drug.
I have said many times that those who make decisions of this magnitude, don't have a personal connection to the consequences of it. It's not their wife, their daughter or likely anyone they even know.
I will, of course, post any new information about this.

Ursodiol generic brand has worked pefrect for me the past 6 years with zero side affects. I take two 300mg daily they're pink/white capsule. My liver numbers are still higher than normal but lowered since my diagnosis 2016. Hope they continue what's worked for you..
So often our numbers never get to that 'normal' range. Having them decrease from where you started though is great. I have taken Urso for almost 40 years and have had no problem with it.
