Hi

Was just wondering what is considered a high ama titre test and what the significance of this is in terms of pbc xx

To my knowledge an elevated AMA means it is positive. AMA is either negative or positive. Along with elevated alk phos levels on your blood work, these 2 things are usually indicative of PBC diagnosis.

it’s either positive or not. I think mine was 1:1200 just FYI

Hi

My test was 6:40 titre units I just wondered if it means something other, does it have some significance to the level of the disease or is it just.a positive market for pbc ?x

just to the diagnosis - the lab work and subsequent scans will show an disease progress

Mine was 1/320 when I started to see my hepatologist and the year after I was at 1/620 and she explained to me that it did not meen that my PBC was getting worse but was confirming that I did have PBC.
