I thought that this was a PBC discussion group, but I'm interested because I have PBC and PMR. Although medics are sceptical, I am 100% certain that the PMR resulted from my 4th covid vaccination in April 22. I am on pred since late 22, starting 20mg, reducing by 2.5 each month since December 22. When I got to 7.5 in February 23 symptoms returned so I reverted to 10, and have been reducing more slowly, now on 5.5.All that I would say is that I believe that steroids are not good for immune system and that your overall steroid load seems high. Are the medics encouraging this and do they have a plan for you? Best regards, William

Hi. I have a pituitary tumour that has caused irreversible damage and one of the glands affected is the adrenal responsible for cortisol production. Consequently my lowest dosage I can manage on without flaring is 9.5mg and will be on this for rest of my life 😕 Thanks for your reply anyway 👍
