CRB Latex result

Hello!

What’s the “normal” CRB latex blood result for PBC’ers? I’ve had PBC ~5 years or so and so far results have stayed relatively stable except for CRB latex, which has gone up a bit!

Thanks!

Hi Emer.Is it CRP bloods.

If so it measures inflammation in your body. It can be raised with infection or other inflammatory problems.

My crp is raised when I am having a flare in my join and muscles. I get pain and stiffness in my joint and weakness in my muscles. My crp has gone up to 67. Recently about 10. I think below 5 is normal.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Nelly for the info. Looking back at previous results it wasn’t always included in my report or wasn’t tested for. There was one a few years back it was ~5 and now it’s in ~20s. Wasn’t sure if it was PBC related!

Hi, when mine was raised last year I wondered I it was pbc too but my hepatologist said it wasn't obvious. I was recently diagnosed with autoimmune inflammatory arthritis. Hope your OK.
