Mine was a doll called Tiny Tears... porcelain head but soft body. I remember it was so cool that her mouth was open.. you had a small baby bottle with water in it to feed her.... and then water came out of a small opening in her bottom. It was amazing to me! 😄👶

You had Dolls, you must have been well to do kids, as we called them back in the day. We never had toys unless you picked one up at a jumble sale. Often well loved with bits broken off but a treasure nonetheless. Colouring books and pens were my toys. But being one of 12 you never really missed or played with toys much, you had ready made friends and were out in the woods all day playing games of our imagination. I wouldn't change that time for the world.
Great memories are worth so much! I loved my new coloring books. Wish more kids these days played outside and made those kind of memories for themselves
I remember Tiny Tears! I loved Sindy dolls (didn’t have Barbie in my day) and also had Fisher Price little people and treehouse etc. I had names for them all!
Penknife, and bow and arrow. I was a bit of a tomboy, loved tree climbing etc. My friend had a tiny tears, her parents buried her with it when she died from meningitis. Poole hospital told them to go home and get some sleep. Then shut off her life support while they were gone.
How sweet to bury her doll with her. How devastating they weren't even with their daughter when she died. How could they have turned off her life support when she was alone? I bet her parents feel they had no closure.. how awful for them.
