I know there's probably information about this but I'm not sure how to access it. I've recently had an accident and I'm recovering.... slowly. Wondering about the use of CBD oils and tinctures.
I slipped on our wet backyard deck and fractured my knee cap, my fibula, and sprained my ankle. Ugh! My foot landed in the dogs water bowl which made me slip further yet. Ouchie!!!!!!!
Thanks,
Stella❤

So sorry Stella. I believe mrspeffer is familiar with tinctures. Maybe she will see your post & help you with that question. Take care. Hope all else is good. 🦋
👍🏻 Did your doctor order a bone density test, seeing you fractured the kneecap? If not, might be helpful to get one. Might want to up the calcium intake.
Sorry to hear this! I fractured toes last month. It's hard to accept more limits.. I mean come on. We already deal with PBC 🙁 Here's a thread on CBD oil. Might be helpful.
I've been taking an Indica CBD oil for a year and a half for insomnia and it works . My Consultant knows I take it and didn't say anything against it. My blood test numbers came down slightly and my fibroscan results were better......I've got another appointment in 2 weeks so will see if there is further improvement .I have written about it before.....put CBD in search box
Great report, I’d like to try it. What’s the dosage, strength and source you use. I tried some Cvs $60 a 2 Oz jar salve and a ,5 oz CBD tincture from health food store, nothing different.
What a bummer! Sending all sort of healing thoughts to you for a fast recovery. I have done quite a bit of research on the\e effects of CBDs and THC on the liver. Most of what I've read leads to the benefits on inflammation in the body. One article spoke of toxicity, but that was in mass quantities over a very long time frame. The true CBD oils which in the
US are sold in pot stores, not on the internet, do have some benefits for reducing inflammation. For pain relief, you have to use the THC compounds. Of course, depending on where you live, it may not be legally available to you. The topical creams, oral capsules, tinctures, and the actual bud itself, all have extensive research for pain and inflammation relief. I am having to assume your question is in wondering how it will affect your health conditions. Here is what I have had to consider along the road. I have to have some quality of life. There are times that the pain outweighs the possible negative consequences, and mostly, just how much do I have to endure because of my condition? I do not believe that a short term regimen of CBD's or THC will be a problem. There is lots of information available to read. Hope this helps. Be well and do what you need to do to feel better.
I have also been researching full spectrum organic cbd and PBC. My findings show that using pure full spectrum cbd that has 3rd party lab testing is beneficial to the liver. I can give you a link for a quality full spectrum cbd site that is legal and has third party testing! Www.fullspectrumorganiccbd.com
Www.Hempworx.com/Tschal. Both links for same company
I'm sorry that you incurred such a painful injury. Knee injuries tend to be extra painful. I ordered topical CBD cream from FAB CBD that I use it on my knee, and whatever else tends to hurt periodically. It's not a miracle cure but I do feel it helps soothe the pain:
