Serious pain in last 24 hours should i worry or wait till it passes

hi all, me again, about 24 hours ago, i started with some pain in my back and liver again which i wasnt too worried about as the norm , but last night i was crying in pain from the front of my liver, its all in the front at the moment and hurting so bad, feels like someone is sticking knives in me, im not one for rushing to the gp and definately avoid hospitals as much as i can, i am thinking ive got an infection somewhere or the ulcers are causing it, will it eventually just ease itself ? thanks everyone

In my experience, pain that bad doesn't usually go away on it's own. Call your doctor and if you can't get in today go to the ER. I hope you feel better soo and let us know what happened! All my best wishes

Hi thanks so much for your reply, sorry for not replying i have been asleep, i saw my gp and he isnt too sure but thinks its possibly because i am starting to get some fluid build up again in my abdoment , plus i have anothe flare up started with my Celluitiis on my leg, he admits he hasnt alot of knowledge yet with PBC but he is such a lovely doctor with me, i have had some good rest and am feeling much better now, so it looks like the infection caused it, as my inflamed leg is gradually getting a little less red, thanks 😌

Hi Jennie, I had this happen a week after I started Ursofalk, I was getting stabbing pains in my liver area and I went to local emergency hospital as the pain was so severe. I stopped the medication and the pain went within a few days. Gastroenterologist had started me on meds again half dose to hopefully gradually get used to it slowly
