Hi Jennyhadenough.I have had numerous urine infections for years now, it was getting to stage I was getting one a month. I was always aware of pain from the bladder area , just the severity of it changed. Had tests done and got put on maintenance dose of antibiotics (still take but hoping to stop soon).
I was diagnosed with painful bladder syndrome. started treatment back end of last year where I went every week and via a catheter had a serum put into bladder for 6 weeks or 8 (can’t remember now, brain fog). I now have to go once a month and it has made a huge difference . I’m not saying you have the same, just sharing in case similarities are there that you can relate to. Take care x
Hi folks. I wondered about the research of Urso on the bladder. Occasional stain I see. Perhaps we can ask medical staff in connection with PBC foundation so that we can be informed with research we can utilize towards our health and well being
Hello, not quite the same thing but my last liver scan showed an enlarged right kidney, called hydronephrosis. I get frequent UTIs too. Apparently it’s a build up of urine in the kidney, could be due to bladder problems. I’m waiting for the result of a CT scan to find the cause. I’m terrified as I had breast cancer two years ago and constantly worry about secondaries. Ive been on Urso for about 18 months, now I’m wondering if there is a connection. I hope you get your problem sorted out too. Have you had any scans? Xxx
I too have bladder problems but not so much pain but constantly feeling I need to go and up about 5 times a night. I found that Ovestin helped some what, but I do think taking Urso everyday can’t help the bladder.
