Hi.

Just got blood results, is high platelets part of PBC.

I often have high red blood cells and hemocrit etc. interestingly enough, when I donate blood those values go back into the normal range for awhile. My liver doc says”it kinda makes sense”.

That is interesting that you donate blood. I dont think you can donate blood when you have pbc at least in the US.

Hi.Thanks, my hb and hematocrit are high normal, it's just platelets 436

Interesting! My husband’s platelets are usually low, and his doc says that is normal with PBC. Such a strange disease to have...so variable!
