Hi again

Just wanted to share another concerns of mine with you.

Have you ever lost your sense of smell??

I can barely sense any smell recently.

I don’t have official diagnosis of sjogren but I suffer dry eye mouth nose.

And if yes, what is the solution?

my sense of smell seems to be heightened now however my mother lost her sense of smell but never had a diagnosis or given any help.

Just an aside... the dryness is called “Sicca Syndrome”, which can affect eyes, mouth and vagina (without getting into a sex/gender conversation!!).

Sometimes that Sicca Syndrome is caused by Sjoegren’s. Sometimes not.

Yes, I can usually smell nice things but not the bad smells. I get targeted to change stinky nappies so it has its uses. 😂

Be careful though cos my car was giving off fumes which I couldn't smell. Fortunately I swapped cars with my husband one day and he immediately took my car to garage where they reconnected a pipe which had been pumping bad fumes into my car

It’s annoyingly bad. I miss the smell of food, cakes and parfums😭😭

I’m so sorry you are having this problem on top of all the rest you are dealing with. I hope you have some support there. You are carrying a lot! I hope you get some relief.

Thank you dear Eileen. Yes my problems are getting too much to carry. But I will stay strong and try to solve some of them. Surely with the help of my friends here in this community.
