Hi everyone had to stop treatment and then went on holiday

Been poorly with asthma and sinus but ok

Hope everyone else ok ... has anyone else had to stop treatment through severe itching

Hi, sorry to hear you have been poorly. Yes I have struggled with the itching from taking meds. I was officially diagnosed in March & was put straight onto urso I’ve been on them, off them, back on them, then had Rifampicin added in, was asked to stop those & try lowering the urso dose. Now my levels have risen back up again. It makes me itch terribly 😩 It’s been 8 months now & still can’t seem to get the balance right.

Oh I feel for you with the itch mines been awful

Have they tried any alternatives such as bezafibrate, some seem to report good results with that. For me the answer is no to your question. My itch went active about 8 years after diagnosis so best of my knowledge nothing to do with the URSO.

Hope you are recovering from your asthma and sinus problems.

Hi I'm not on anything at the moment and my itch is awful

Hi Janine you do seem to be going through it. Are you still on your trial? Hope things settle down for you and you don’t get this dreadful never ending cold that’s going around our area. Feel better soon. Then we can meet for that coffee.
