Only itchy arms
Hello. I was diagnosed 2 years ago with no symptoms and still none today. 😊
I was diagnosed 5 years ago while investigating fluctuating slightly abnormal LFT’s. No symptoms but I sometimes develop rashes & it itches in the Summer. I also feel an occasional “muscle pull or ache” right under my right rib which I know is pbc related. But I only noticed it after they diagnosed the pbc.
Yes I get an itchy arm when I eat some types of processed wheat and after eating shell fish. But 90 percent of the time I do not have symptoms.
Hi, I was diagnosed in February while having surgery for breast cancer. Like you I get an occasional itch, eyes sometimes a bit sore and occasional discomfort in liver area. I do feel tired at times but I think that’s the result of radiotherapy. But nothing too unbearable. X
Morning baby,
I was diagnosed about three years ago, the only symptom being itching, although I never put it down to that. I’d been itching one spot for years!!
For me, symptoms started fairly shortly after, and I was transplanted in May this year, 2.5 yrs after diagnosis!! But don’t be frightened by this - that is quite an unusually fast progression, and I now feel bloody fantastic!!!
Good luck. Andy.
When I was diagnosed I had no symptoms at all for about 5 years.
Then I got a dry mouth and eyes. Fatigue hit about 4 years ago and I have a slight itch now if I get too warm that’s in 10 years.
There have been things along the way that may or may not have been related to PBC, but because they come and go the consultant thinks not. Take care
My symptoms are very mild. I do get tired but then I am 72 and I get mild itch mostly around my head. Hope it stays that way 😊
I have been having terrible itching head, ears, face, neck and some on the torso . I hate going places because Im afraid people will think I have lice . I have a whole drug store of shampoos nothing works long term .I haven't been to the doctors lately . My primary doctor wanted me to see my liver doctor so I sent him the results of my blood work . he was unimpressed and said he would see me in Dec. I was diagnosed in 2012 but really haven't had much trouble with it . I also have scleroderma and raynaud's . If any one has a idea of what I can do please let me know .
Hi - yes - I have no symptoms thankfully, I had 2 high sugary soda drinks last april and itched for a week after it, but since then little or no itching as I know what to avoid.
I'm keep up my healthy diet and fitness
I have ran 2 marathons, plenty halfs, etc since diagnosed and will continue to run ... forest gump..
Last year I decided this ain't getting me!
Long may your no symptoms last
