thank you for the comments and useful info and other sites to visit .. just gonna take me time to get used to this and any changes i may have to make to my life
Hi michalax. I find that if I just listen to my body and when the energy levels are low I rest (when possible). There are no black and white answers with this conditon and although we all have similar symptoms we are all different. There are people who have no symptoms at all and others who have lots. Bit of advise is that when you see your specialist, write down a list of questions so you don't forget anything. I also write down the answers to those questions when I am in with him. Good luck.
Hi Michalax, I'm new to this group, but I can tell you that I was suspected of having PBC in 1997 and confirmed in 2003. I have saw elevations of the LFT's since 1993. So this a slow progressing disease. About 1 year ago, I began my first symptom of itching, although I did have times in my life of unexplained fatique. The best information you can learn is from this and other groups, and they are so willing to share with you. Wishing and praying you were well also.
Hello there! I have just been diagnosed with PBC too. I'm scared and upset. I've had very bad stomach pains for 10 years I thought it was an ulcer and only recently discovered it was gall stones. I'm 28 and I'm worried that I have had this for many years. I suffer tiredness and itching but then also i have had severe itching for many years.
I'm seeing a specialist on the 20th, but i can't concentrate with work as i'm just constantly thinking of this.
I work full time and have a 3 year old son, I don't drive so its all running around, trying to get things sorted, and by the time i get to work at 9 i'm shattered.
Any tips would be much appreciated.
sorry i'm new to all of this.
Thank you
Aylin
