Has anyone suffered from uveitis of the eye.

Yup. It chronic for me. I take prednisone forte 1% for treatment and prevention. I don’t know if it’s related. I’ve not been told.

I will let you know ehen i get all my test results but when i have spoke with my eye consultant she said it goes with auto imune diseases.

My liver specialist advised it may well be diabetes.

Im with my eye consultant.

It has really got to me as it is recuring more regular the uveitis.

Hi,

I have been diagnosed with iritis which is a form of uveitis. Mine was several years ago, before I was knew I had PBC. Steroid eye drops cleared it right up and thankfully I’ve never had it again. I did read where it is more common in people with autoimmune diseases. Best of luck and keep us updated 😊

Yes ive read the same. I had it 16 years ago before pbc was confirmed but i have had it twice since november
