Scan results

Got my fibro scan done yesterday. 7.9 were the results. I am relieved. My labs weren't ready so I will get them via mail soon. It appears the URSO is working. I am thankful. Also thankful for my friends here that always have time to respond and encourage!

I had my fibroscan a while back but have had no results back yet, do I have to call them?

If your in the UK, they don't seem to automatically send them out or give the results on the day which I understand they could do..? .. I never got my results until after the consultant had been sent them. Then I only got a letter telling me it was in the normal to mild range which was good news and I would be seen again in a year, that took two weeks. You could check at your GP surgery to see if they have received a copy of your results if you want the numbers, I was happy enough with normal to mild elasticity of the liver.

My GI didn’t get in a hurry to read my results. Not pleasant for me. Drs here don’t allow technicians to give results.
