Today I had an appointment with the hepatoligist in Mexico city. I am from guanajuato. Well walking to the hospital Te was a massive earthquake 7.1. And it horrible. Thank God I am fine but today I realize that we have to live every day like it's the last. Pray for my people. They really need it. And for my appointment I think it could wait.

Tragic news about the earthquake and loss of life. So sorry you had that experience while walking to the hospital. Yes you are right- these tragic events remind us how fragile our world/our lives really are.

Yes! Live to the fullest. I have profound appreciation for each day and having my PBC dx really made me laser focus on priorities and what matters most. Sending you hugs and encouragement from USA. We care!

By the way- I have a friend from Chicago who retired a few years ago and built a house in Guanajuato. I know there is quite a large ex-pat population there. The pictures I have seen of her neighborhood are beautiful-- the colors of the buildings etc.. just gorgeous.

Be safe dear one!

You have been on my mind ever since I heard about the earthquake. I have only experienced 1 earthquake and it was a 4.2 but it was the scariest thing that ever happened to me. I'm glad to hear you are okay and I will be sending prayers.

Thank God you're safe. Glad you checked in. Take care of yourself... on TOP of your recent dx you've just experienced this disaster in your country. In addition to YOU being a caretaker for others, please care for your own emotional well being too. Be safe. We care.

ACTUALLY I FEEL GOOD. I JUST HAD MY LFT DONE AND THE RESULTS ARE MUCH BETTER. IT IMPROVED A 50% OF THE ORIGINAL EXAMENS. NOT NORMAL YET BUT I HAVE A FEELING THAT SOON I WILL BE THERE. I ONLY BEEN WITH URSO A MONTH AND A HALF, AND WAS SURPRISED WITH THE RESULT. I AM SO HAPPY AND THIS KEEP MUY HOPES UP. ABOUT MY APPOINTEMENT WITH THE HEPATOLOGIST, I GUESS IT WILL BE IN A FEW MONTHS. BUT MUY GI IS HAPPY AND I FEEL EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE GOOD. WE HAVE TO KEEP THE HOPES UP AND ALWAYS THINK POSITVE.
