I was diagnosed with pbc about 4 years ago and have been on Urso ever since. Although having read posts from the pbc foundation before I don't recall ever becoming a member. I've still been working part time and most days try to have a 'normal life' while battling the fatigue-which is there every day in varying degrees of severity.
I signed up today because I've decided that the wierd symtoms this condition can bring make it too hard to 'go it alone'. Recently I've had pain around the liver that at first felt like a stitch and then like a baby kicking me in the womb! SO STRANGE!! Posts on this forum helped me to know I am not the first pbc patient to feel this and not going crazy!

I see my liver specialist once a year except if the tests deteriorate. Last year that happened and he was concerned I was 'unresponsive to Ursofalk', however they improved with a stricter diet so back to yearly visits.
well it must mean all ypur bloods and sypmtons if any are within limits im in uk under QE birmingham and are on once a yr visit do not worry it is quite common if u have any problems come up im sure like mine u only have to ring them and someone will sort u with a chat or appt also my consultant asked my gp to do bloods once a yr at 6mth divide good luck
Fatigue does seem to be a problem for a lot of people and the PBC Foundation compendium has some suggestions to address the problem however there is no cure currently. I get discomfort in the liver area from time to time and use a warm hot water bottle to gain some comfort. You are definitely not crazy.
