L-Tryptophan

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had current research information if taking L-Tryptophan is troublesome to your liver. I know it was taken off the market for a few years then declared ok and is back on the shelves. I take Xanax to help get to sleep and would like to try an alternative less caustic to the liver.

I was just thinking I should go back to taking that as well. My doc used to tell me to take 10mg sublingual.
