Hi all not been on here for a long time. I had my hospital appointment on Wednesday of this week had more blood tests done after taking ursofalk for a year. Got my scan results told me I had fatty liver so need to try and lose some weight which I am overweight this is very hard as I like my sweet things I do try to keep healthy and exercise I ride my horse at least 3 to 4 times a week and I am in full-time work to.

I have no symptoms which is good at the moment. I receive my letter from my consultant on Friday and he had put that my blood test for my liver was back to normal so happy about that it said for me to continue with my medication and to concentrate on my weight loss which is what I'm going to do he also Put I have Inactive early PBC I hope this means good news Not got to go back for a year but has asked me to have a another scan in August a fibroscan which worries me as I do not want to know what stage I am at

Hi Cherry69

Good news to have in active early PBC, I guess your condition has been caught early which is also good news. I was diagnosed in 2006 as asymptomatic and have never known what stage so long as the ursodeoxycholic acid is working then it seems to give us a better outcome.

It is good though if you can reduce your weight and being busy with a horse as well hopefully can help. I used to love riding, I had my own horse for quite a while and I know how busy they can keep a person and also how uplifting it can be to work with them.

Have fun, enjoy your life be happy.

best wishes
