Appetite

I have been on urso for about 2 weeks now and i am experiencing headaches with nausea and loss of appetite. Before my diagnoses i had the same issues without the headaches. I had lost 23 pounds over 2 month period. Im starting to lose weight again. Is this common?

From my experience this will all pass. But the weight thing varies for us I think. I weighed around 135-145 (fluctuated) before all of this. Now I can hardly keep weight on. I run between 120-125, Im 5ft 6in tall so I look really thin. I feel like I look like I have a eating disorder on top of everything else I have😞

Hi Bakerc

When I first started the urso I had tummy problems and needed to take omeprazole to help my nausea. I believe it takes a little while for the body to adjust to the medication. Hope it all settles down for you soon. Take your Urso with or after food and plenty of water to wash it down - it helped me.

No such luck for me (losing weight) but I definitely had raging headaches and more itching that I was used to at the beginning. I also had flushing and perspiration. All of it went away within two weeks, thank goodness, as I got used to the medicine. The headache was the worst but went away first. The flushing took a little longer, and frankly, if it had continued, I'm not sure I would have stayed on the medicine. Reminded me too much of hormonal hot flashes and that's no way to live!
