I also take both. I responded to urso for the first 6 months, then my lfts started going back up, so my consultant put me on the 2. It improved my results greatly. I understand that it was a unexpected discovery that the lipidl improves the effectiveness of urso on some people, so I think it's worth the shot. Good luck.

Hello,

I took it and it ended up damaging my liver more. My doctor told me to stop taking it.

Thanks.... hope things are better.... all I seem to be finding is gloom and doom on the liver site for the US

I know what you mean! The American Liver Foundation one is almost no help at all. It seems like there are not very many people on it with PBC. Kind of depressing.

I started taking it and then after 2 months I felt pain in my right side under my ribs. My doctor tested my liver enzymes and they went up dramatically high. Now I have to have my liver tested every week for 2 months to make sure the numbers are going down. The doctor said the medication affects people differently.
