I thought it was below 20! Unless the normal ranges have changed. I'd check it out to stop you worrying 😄

Hi, I'm afraid I don't know anything about this. Why not contact the PBC foundation people (Link to their site at the top of this page); you can get the phone numbers from the online site, and call and have a chat to one of their advisors. It would put your mind at rest quickly and save time searching through Google articles that may be wrong, or out-of-date or too high-falutin.

Hope you get some answers, take care.

The reference range for healthy, non-pregnant adults is < 6. However, there are lots of factors that can influence levels so values can't be evaluated in isolation. Do you have any established diagnoses that might shed some light?

I was diagnosed with PBC September 2014, also got enlarge lymph nodes in my abdomen, due for a CT SCAN next week, I've also had many other blood tests.

What I really need to do is be patient and get all my results from my consultant instead of googling individual results.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post xx

Hi,

How were the enlarged lymph nodes in abdomen detected? What were your symptoms?

I was having abdominal pains and indigestion/ibs symptoms. All tests have been clear, and so far more fibre, plus omeprazole and less stress seem to have worked, but I'm still getting some odd twinges.

All advice appreciated

Hi grittyreads, my enlarged lymph nodes were discovered after having an MRI scan because an ultrasound scan found a gallstone, the thing is I don't have any pain, twinges or anything else, I actually feel great.

It all began last September when a blood test revealed that I have pbc.

Hope you find the answers you're looking for, all the best xx

Thanks, I'm seeing GP next week about a full review of my PBC (mis-) diagnosis, so I'll mention other fears. Hopefully a reappraisal will lead to a few more checks than I have been having so far with my peculiar (merely 'at risk') diagnosis.

Take care, hope all goes well. xx
