Alpha-1Feto Protein

I just got my blood test results in. I was looking them over and discovered that My Alpha-1-Feta-Protein is 10. Normal range is 0-7ug/L. My dr. didn't even mention this and it is the first I have seen of it. Any info out there.

AFP is a tumour marker they do it in Pbc as well as scanning for hepatoma as we are at increased risk. Don't worry tho presumably if your doctor saw the result and it's only slightly above normal he's not worried

I am having my blood work done again in October and they are testing Alpha -Feto Protein. I don't even know what that is?
