Anyone else got ckd2 with pbc?

Hi I've recently been diagnosed with pbc and just received a letter from my gastroenterologist saying i have chronic kidney disease stage 2 also, anyone know anything about if they are connected, any info greatly appreciated , thanks x

Hi Sonia40, I have ckd3 I was told about 3years ago buy a gynie consultant, he didn't know what it stood for.

When I asked gp she told me and said nothing to worry about. I have asked since and got no answer other than "we are monitoring it"

Going to see consultant this month so will ask.

Hi sue, thank you so much for the reply, I did a little research of my own and they say its secondary to pbc, don't know about you but it gets a little tiring not getting any answers, pls do keep in touch, hugs xxxx
