PCOS & B12 Deficiency & Coeliac Disease

My 2 daughters were diagnosed with Coeliac Disease in their 30s last year. Their anti-bodies are now 0. The Gluten free diet is spot on. However they both have had odd periods. Very heavy & painful to very light and lasting a few days. Have been scanned and have multiple cysts. Are being tested for testosterone & insulin resistance to check for poly cystic ovaries. I'd like to know as I have B12 deficiency could this be the same problem in them and be making their periods erratic and causing no ovulation? I know 1 in 4 women have PCOS. Yet it seems strange they have this problem after going gluten free. Both are severely deficient in vitamin D due to the Coeliac Disease and are taking tablets and having injections to boost this.
