Interesting story, but sad to think so many patients are suffering such ailments and still being misdiagnosed. What a frightening situation for that poor woman to have endured.

Thanks for sharing Clive. So much of that story resonates. The years of tiredness, being told it was my hormones, being told it was because I'm old now ( at 55!) and generally being talked down to. Sounds like she's going to be a fantastic advocate for better health care.
