Hi - 1.5mg VS 1mg Hydroxocobalamin ampoules?

I SI 1mg every 4 days currently to stay functioning. (Was diagnosed back in 2015) I have only been self injecting for the last year and my ability to function has improved greatly. Does anyone here have experience of a higher dose mean lower frequency injections? That would be great a great outcome - but equally I don't wish to waste money.... all experience gratefully received :)

I have used both the 1.5mg/1ml (Pascoe) and 1mg/1ml (Panpharma) and didn’t notice a great deal of difference and stuck with my EOD routine. It would be interesting to know if others noticed any benefit in the 50% stronger option.

In Germany most of us use the 1.5 mg ampoules and still recommend every other day.

I use Pascoe 1.5mg/ml and am currently injecting every tenth day & I expect to extend it to once monthly maybe longer over the next few months. When I started using it I found it was best to inject it every third day as EOD was not needed. Costs less as well.

I would say that there’s only one way for you to find out — that’s for you to try it yourself . After having read various member’s reactions , some find they can inject less , some find no difference when injecting the 1.5mg dose . We are all different . Best wishes .
