It's hydroxcobalamin 1mg but in 2mls . 1mg/2mlNot 1ml as Rotexmeduca / panpharma is 1mg/1ml

But the same active ingredient?

Does taking a 2ml make any difference? Thanks for replying by the way 😀

It is the usual dosage , just put in 2ml of saline.

I've not tried it yet but double the fluid for same dose of B12.Not sure why it's made like that?

I think maybe so the dose can be split more easily? The pack leaflet mentions using amounts of 1ml/500mcg twice a week to start and 100mcg a month for maintenance, disposing of the remainder. Goodness knows how you would accurately measure a tenth of the 2ml ampoule.

No!And shoujd be used straight away anyway .

Single use being the whole point

Yes exactly. And considering overdose is not possible I wonder why the manufacturers stipulate such precise and small amounts. It’s not on the leaflet for Pascoe.

Hi Katys1981zzz,

I have used the Hevert. I found no difference in it's performance of keeping symptoms at bay just more to inject because of the saline content.

I purchased a 100 of them and use them in between the panpharma when it's out of stock. All you can do is give it a trial to see how you get on.

I used once but it’s 2 ml of fluid so switched when I could. Same dose of b12 so it’s not a problem.

I dreaded using 2ml of fluid but actually found it more comfortable ……no sting, so use all the time now 😊

I have been using these once or twice a week for nearly 2 years with no issues. I have just received a second order of 50. It does take a little longer to inject, but I take things very slowly and if I feel any pain, I stop, breathe, relax and then continue. Hope that helps.

I've not been able to get the usual, favourite Panpharma ones - ordered and then had it refunded a couple of weeks ago.So I ordered pretty much the only thing that was available - a box of 100 x Pascoe, which appeared to be 1500ug hydroxo in 1ml liquid. I am hoping it will be OK!!!!

Fingers crossed, it's arriving today...

Don't see why it wouldn't work. Also 1.5 is good. I like that dose better.

It came just as I posted that comment. It looks the same, so that's good!

I inject subQ into stomach, which I think isn't quite as potent as the IM jab I get at surgery, so I think a higher dosage for home use will be good for me. 🤞🏻

2ml is quite a lot for a subcutaneous injection .

Mine is the Pascoe - 1ml / 1500ug of hydroxocobalamin. Did one earlier as soon as they arrived, my brain feels a tiny bit less woolly already!

Pasco works very well for me. I inject one 1.5 ml every third day so saves time.

Not what you're looking for?
