Advice from the University of sussex on how to inject B12.
Well done charks. Thank you.
Many thanks sharks, a very useful info sheet. Noted that caution for oral B12 is flagged up for those with Coeliac condition - useful to know in case my surgery ever goes down the route of trying to stop jabs in favour of oral supplementation! Have downloaded a copy to keep, the link within it were useful too. 😍
Don't mess about with needles, use this. Google it for UK suppliers.

Great tool. . . . . Only for Subcutaneous I believe. . . . . And only 0.5ml solution. . . . . But I am sure it works good. . . . . Really injections are not that bad. . . . . . I have a neighbour down the road who'd actually feel faint at the sight of a needle coming toward him. . . . . . Unfotunalty he had to have part of a lung removed. . . . . He said he quickly forgot his fears and couldn't wait sometimes to see the needle approach him. . . . . Although I injected animals mainly a goat or few and dogs over many years it did not make it one bit easier to SI.. . . . I do know now though how to make it as painless as possible now. . . . I was like many nurses prior. . . . . A bit bold and way to quick. . . . . Find the muscle or bit of fat . . . . Shove it in and get plunger down before it has time to jump away. . . . . Not good and I hate hurting things . . . . . Parents should never threaten children with the doctor or injections. . . .That has an awful lasting effect. . . . For those of of a certain age we had to put up with glass syringes and needles that were sterilised in a little glass cabinet thingy and the needles were huge and blunt in comparison to todays lovely engineered types. . . . . More important they are sharp unlike the old ones used endless times. . . . Alwasy use a needle to draw up. usually a larger longer version and then the smaller one to inject. . . . . . There are draw needles available buyt I find them serious expensive . . . . There is no danger needles breaking either. . . . . . I'll bend a modern needle around my finger and take a pic if ye wish. . . . . They dont break and dont come loose/away. . . . . This needle breaking thing is often part of the fear thing maybe. . . .
