Where do you get the B12 to inject?

Hi,

I would like to purchase some B12 to inject myself as 3 months is way too long for me.

I need to know exactly what to purchase and a safe place to purchase from, worry about the internet. Does it come with syringes and the needles?

I live in the UK.

Thanks!

I get my b12 on perscription from my GP! All I did was ask and they were happy to provide them as often as I need them. Everything else I get from Medisave, I've found that lots of us from the site recommend them

You are so lucky to have found such a GP. That is very rare . “ as often as I need them “ -Amazing !

Like Penni above, I have been self injecting weekly for the last 15 months with my B12 supplied by my GP on prescription. I also get all the "consumables" from Medisave.

I get my B12 Hydroxocobalamin from a German online pharmacy

versandapo.de in English

Yes type all of that in and you will reach their site in English . You need to register before your first purchase.

Then search for Hydroxocobalamin. A drop down list appears . Click on Hydroxocobalamin acetat, and the choices appear . I use 1mg X1ml ampoules - Rotexmedica- available in packs of10 multiples thereof, or 100 . I buy 100 as this is the most economical . The use buy date is getting on for three years,

Slightly more expensive are 1mg X 2ml ampoules by Hevert in 5, 10,50, and 100 packs

Pascoe make 1.5 mg X 1ml in packs of 10 and 100 .

Courier costs are €9.00 no matter how many you order . You can pay with PayPal or card .

Many people on this forum use a German on line pharmacy . Very reliable . Excellent service . You can get both Hydroxocobalamin B12 and Cynocobalamin B12 . Hydroxocobalamin is usually used by the NHS . I use 1mg X 1ml ampoules of Hydroxocobalamin . Google

versandapo.de in English

and you will get straight through to the site in English . You will need to register before your first purchase . In the search box look for Hydroxocobalamin, and a drop-down list will appear . Click on Hydroxocobalamin acetat and you will then get the full choice . I use Rotexmedica 1mg X1ml ampoules as there is less liquid to inject . You can buy them in packs of 10 or 100 . Hevert supply 1mg X 2ml ampoules . The choice is yours . Courier costs €9.00 no matter how many you buy . I buy 100 at a time , because I inject weekly , it’s most economical and the use by date is about 3 years ahead . You can use PayPal or a card .

Medisave.uk supplies everything else you need -needles , syringes , swabs and sharps box for disposal of used needles . You need to decide on your method of injection . I.M . - into the thigh muscle or sub-cutaneous into your stomach . Look up videos .Get back if there’s anything else you need to know . Best wishes to you .
