Really we could do with a lot more info to judge the situation .. . But . . .. You shouldnt be crashing at all. . . . . It is not good for you. . . . . As to requesting another jab, good luck with that one and if you are crashing the GP jab frequency is most likely not going to do it for you

I have still presently have got an NHS prescription for 2 weekly b12 Injections. It took a while to stop the see saw effect of symptoms.

I also buy my own b12 as need it weekly . I'm over the 5 year mark.

Have tried many regimes.

Always in the hope of getting a bigger gap .

Then only concentrated on getting on with life the best I could rather than getting less injections.

I was strongly encouraged by G.p to need fewer 💉!

There are times I can go 3 days and other times I barely manage one day to the next. . . . . Just live as best ye can with what ye have. . .. . . .

Please get mentally used to the idea of self injection , as so many people end up with a box full of syringes and needles!!

I was very lucky, GP did know about loading doses , 4-6 in 2 weeks, and that some people needed more than monthly jabs. I said I needed more , he said yes I know but we can't afford the nurses time(!!!). So , a nurse taught me how, online is also ok. I now buy ampules from Germany ,syringes etc from Medisafe here, bobs your uncle. Cost about £1 a jab, it's so worth it. This is something all new PA patients should have the information about. Thank God for this group. Good Luck.

I think that maybe I am crashing right now. Overthe last few days I've turned from being normal to a bit of a wreck. Was only told yesterday i have PA. Can't concentrate on my work, feel emotional. Feeling numb, massive headache. Blood pressure gone through the roof. Nurse did allow me a booster 4 weeks earlier than planned, but now won't give me another until I've seen gp and had further tests.

Please read my reply to Skieblue. Your situation is just the thing I meant, please don't worry , testing your B12 in blood is silly after jabs , but your GP might understand . If it was a haematologist that diagnosed you they will know that jabs will be for life. Good Luck

Only been on injections for a year. First sign I'm crashing is disassociative feeling, insomnia and fast thoughts. Then muscle pain, then neuropathy. It all happens quickly. When I say crashing I mean that my body is telling me I need more than I'm getting. I believe that is what you're asking.
