I’ve been recovering from b12 deficiency since February 2019. Probably 3-4 years or more of being deficient. Seemed like I was doing better. Have itchy feeling on skin since Aug 2019- don’t know if it’s allergies or nerve problems. Anxiety had gone. Now-anxiety and stomach issues are back.
Was diagnosed in October with sinusitis and prescribed amoxicillin. Stomach issues started in November. I did try probiotics but didn’t help
I have asthma and use Albuterol. I was given fluticasone nasal spray in February. Could the spray be causing my b12 symptoms to come back? Last blood test was December 2020 and my b12 was over 2000. I was told to take b12 tablets twice a week since it was so high.
I’ve had a lot of stress. Don’t know if that’s it. Seems like my symptoms are coming back.

I never had injections. I was told to take b12 vitamins. I did. I found I was improving. Things/symptoms went away. I did start and still have an itchy sensation that hits all over my body ( scalp, hands, arms and legs) That started September 2019. Doctors don’t care.
Interesting you ask that, in 2005 I was on fluticasone, Albuterol, and Advair at a time that My stomach problems increased (leaky gut) and B 12 drop drastically. This is when I started getting my monthly B12 shots. The pernicious anemia was affecting me drastically neurologically, it affected my speech in hand writing. Once I got my B12 shot I was a new person. I did not correlate the steroids to the B12 deficiency but it certainly could cause a lot of other problems for me like anxiety.
I was just told to take vitamins. It’s really annoying and irritating. Everything went away/improved in 2019. In September 19, I did start getting itchy feelings from my scalp, hands, arms and legs. Doctors won’t help. Now it’s all coming back including the fatigue. It’s really annoying.
Also, if the B12 supplements were helping, given your symptoms are returning, I'd suggest taking it more often than just twice a week. You can't take too much B12. Many who have had long term deficiency need to take quite a lot, just because blood results say over 2000, it doesn't mean you are getting enough to mitigate the damage of the deficiency, go by the symptoms.
I have recently been given nasal spray, which is fluticasone propionate (a cortico-steroid), and feel as if it is affecting my B12, so looked it up.
I can't find much, aside from St Luke's having fluticasone listed as depleting B12. Also topical corticosteroids on a list of drugs that deplete B12 from University of Maryland medical center. Amoxycillin and many other antibiotics included on this list too. Worth a look.
I found that when at my worst, I was susceptible to infections and it was difficult to get rid of them. I was given Doxycycline (for possible SIBO) and later Metronidazole (for gum infections), both of which gave me the same adverse reaction: constant vertigo and headache. Years later, after improvements, antibiotics did not seem to affect me so badly.
