I am posting this here because the site won’t let me do anything else!
I wanted to know if there are any Lyme disease sufferers on here, or any with ADHD/Autism? I am a Lyme disease sufferer and have spent about the last 5 years trying to test a theory about finding/engineering a treatment or cure. Quite by chance, I met someone qualified to help achieve this and I am trying to find other sufferers to get more input from. We have already tried and proved the ADHD/ Autism product, but need input on Lyme.
The treatment plan is completely natural, chemical free etc and I want to find sufferers that haven’t yet succumbed to too many antibiotic etc. treatment attempts yet.
I hope that this is also in keeping with the site’s ethos?

I realise you're posting about Lyme disease, autism and ADHD but I just read your bio, have you ever had your thyroid hormones checked? With you mentioning high cholesterol it may be useful to do so.
Thank you Hedgeree. Cholesterol isn’t actually a problem at all. Medical incompetence is though. I won’t bore you with the whole story, but add to the fact that my large bullseye rash was dismissed by 2 doctors as “I’d slept funny!” was then being sent home and, when feeling even worse a week later with weight loss, projectile vomiting and serious confusion, my GP told me to stop “wasting their time.”
I don't have Lyme, despite at one time, years ago when I walked my dog in the fields - they're mad on horses around here - being attacked by ticks many times.
I do understand what you say about medical incompetence, though. I got a campylobacter infection from insect bites. I got told it was just a stomach bug, it'll go in a few days. It took weeks of pestering them for antibiotics to get anything done. By then I has systemic septicaemia with damaged organs and problems even today, 40 years later.
Despite their reluctance, sometimes doctors need to understand that timely use of antibiotics will save lives or serious suffering.

The biggest hurdle to getting a Lyme diagnosis is going to be medical incompetence and God complex. I have become pretty knowledgeable about Lyme, to the extent that a chance meeting with a microbiologist has led to him coming up with a treatment which is undergoing tests right now and should be on the market very soon. I am currently acting as a guinea pig!
