Good to see an B12 awareness article by Henry Bodkin (senior reporter health and science) in the telegraph. Maybe there is some benefit to influential people turning vegan and will require B12 ?!

The Telegraph is particularly egregious in their focus on veganism and unverified claim that a rise in B12 deficiency is due to the rise in veganism. Not that vegans don't need to watch that they supplement B12 correctly of course, I of all people realize that 😊

But I didnt see anything in the guidelines that backs up making the claims that they do. The Times article is slightly better but still not great.

Poor nutritional education among most doctors I can agree with 110%. But there are exceptions. It was GP ignorance that sent me down the road of severe deficiency, trusting their judgement on adequate B12 dosing :(
