Supplements and airport security.

I recently took two flights one in the UK and one from UK to USA. I was going to put my supplements in my checked bag and then thought most of my traveling is without checked luggage and I wanted to test things out. I did go with I a not a criminal for supplementing although I might get treated as one, a problem for me, I am not the problem.

I took 100 ml of B6 Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate, 5 oz Simple Spectrum Powder, a 30 ml vial of Hydroxocobalamin, 50 ml of B12 in the form of Methylccobalamin/Adenosylcobalamin, band aids, hand sanitizer, wipes, BD Safe-Clip for needle disposal. I put the liquid and powder in one qt size baggie and everything else in another qt baggie.

My bag was flagged and the two baggies scanned at the first airport and not at the second. It only took a few minutes and I was on my way.

I have a friend who went through 4 checkpoints and on the 5th his Tabasco Sauce was confiscated. It is always a risk and worth it to travel for me.

Hi Wizard

Great news but shame about the Tabasco! I will make note and remove from my handbag!

I once caused an stop and search incident at Heathrow as I had a well sealed tin in my luggage - it was flagged as potential Semtex!

After a lot of explaining and laughter my homemade coconut cakes were repacked ready for take off.

We all leaned that coconut cake and Semtex have similar scam profiles 😂😂😂

Glad you are home safe! 🤗
