For a subcutaneous b12 injections I use 1/2" long as only needs to go into fat layer.27-30G needle

1" at least needed for IM

23-25G

Not sure but I think some go finer 🤔 26G ?

23G used at the surgery blue1" for IM

I use 25g x 5/8" (0.5 x 16mm) needle for intra muscular injections and 1" would be much too long for me but then I am small framed and skinny.

That's good to know.I've always had 1" even when skinny at the surgery . If s gp did it they used a finer needle 25G.

Nurse uses 23g blue

Some larger people need 1.5." To reach the muscle .

30G x 1/2 inch is the best size for a subcutaneous B12 injection. .Very fine .
