Hi all, travelling to Spain in 3 weeks time will it be OK to put my b12 vials , a couple of needles and syringes in my hand luggage? I don't have a doctors note or prescription as I have been self injecting for 5 years now .

Many thanks .

Yes you can. I live in Spain and have just travelled to Madeira and back. Two fights there and two back. I put my ampoules and syringes in a clear bag and carried them in my hand luggage. No problem, wasn't asked about them.

Hi... I travel to gran canaria about 6 times a year... absolutely no problem taking ampoules and sharps through security.. just put the ampoules in the clear plastic liquids bag.. no need to put sharps in there just a normal bag

No not once .. I just put the ampoules in a clear bag... and syringes and needles etc in a toiletry bag in my hang luggage... security never questioned it...unlike the tiny sachet of mayonnaise I forgot I had in my handbag 🤣

Thanks Suchadrain 😊

I travelled to spain recently with mine for the first time, I just made sure to take them out and show the staff at security so they could see I was not hiding anything, Also if you're taking folic acid you can buy this over the counter at pharmacies in spain cheaply. I stocked up.

Not what you're looking for?
