Has anyone done research to evaluate which B12 complex to use?

I would be interested in this as well. B6 is the one that can be toxic if taken too much. So I got one that didn't have b6. This allows me to dose the b6 independently. Not sure you need to do that. Thus I don't do anything special other than make sure I take it every day.

I would be interested to hear what others do.

I do high dose b1 and that has helped. I use EON Nutrition's guide to do it since high dosing b1 requires supplementation of other b vitamines, magnesium and potassium because b1 metabolism requires higher levels of these things. If you don't take the others with the b1 then you get cramps and other stuff. Because of this, high dosing b1 is tricky. That's why I purchased his guide. I don't believe in gimics. This guide is not a gimic. He bases his info on the info derived through research on this by Derrick Lonsdale, Chandler Marrs. After getting my b12 levels up, I was still having some brain fog that high dosing b1 helped with. Not to say all people with b12 deficiency need to high dose b1, but it is something to watch for if you hit a wall with the b12. However, if you are just starting out with b12 injections, I would give it at least a year of frequent b12 injections before you start adding high dose b1 in the mix. I say this because it allows you to keep things simple so that you know if and how the b12 doses are working for you.

I dont take a B-Complex anymore but I liked the ~RDA level supplement from Sunday Natural. I dont like to megadose anything if I can avoid it. But I'm not on injections anymore either so *shrug*

I use Solgar megasorb B Complex 50 and cut the tablets in half because the folate form is incorrect for me (temporary ungrounded and slightly with the fairies). Taking it with an additional full Solgar B3 acts as a calming measure and feel much better for it.

I take iron which is used along with b complex for wellbeing but I’d like to say that my recent development of seizures shows that iron also affects vitamin D/calcium and magnesium. I have tests for autoimmune gastritis finally in 10 days. Your supplement needs will be unique to you and it’s best to be careful and not end up with seizures by accident … so take it slowly knowing what each supplement does and when to take it and with what.

p.s forgot to add the seizures are calcium related and may be a parathyroid issue
