This video has nothing to do with pernicious anemia but towards the end of the video it talks about B12 curing canker sores. I thought it was interesting enough to share with everyone here. nutritionfacts.org/video/fr...

I noticed my tongue was sore all over the place and I was developing these small inflamed skin and soreness on each side of my mouth by my lips (now I know it's called angular cheilitis). Had no idea what these symptoms were and how they related to B12 until recently.

I have had mouth sores for years on my inside cheeks. little bumps that you can pop and mucus comes out just tiny amounts. But every time I ate something my mouth would fill with bumps. Also, lately my tongue has been very swollen and very sore as if I scolded it with hot water or hot chocolate or something. So I took B12 drops and I let them rest on my tongue for a while throughout the day and I swear I really think that helped my tongue. I can't be 100% sure but it sure seem to be better after I did that for a few days.

For UK members canker sores is a US name for ulcers.

Link to a thread I started about signs of B12 deficiency in mouth.

Thank you for translating 😀 I think sometimes they are also called mouth sores here.
