B12 from Germany?

Hello -

It's a while since I posted here. I'm trying to buy B12 from Germany; used my previous supplier via Amazon. All went through fine but then received the 'Technical reasons' email and notification of a refund coming my way.

Just tried using Amazon.de but don't expect that to work either.

My symptoms have been pretty awful lately but the GP refuses to entertain the possibility of B12 being the cause of it all, despite having been diagnosed as deficient back in 2010 (they stopped my injections in 2012 because I was pregnant - ridiculous - and refused to start them again, so I was self injecting).

Is there anywhere at all to get ampoules? Anywhere? It's a desperate situation, having read other posts here. My previous delivery went out of date in May and I've been taking methylated B vits since but they're clearly not working. They're affecting my blood test results though as I'm being fobbed off with the usual 'within range' nonsense.

Has anyone found a supplier? 🤞🤞🤞

I had to go to a private Nuffield clinic for my diagnosis and prescription for the first bout of B12 injections. Told my doctor what I was doing. And showed her the autoimmune diagnosis. After months and a letter from the private doctor they have agreed to start the 3 monthly jab. You might shame yours into it by that route. If you can afford be it. I struggle as it’s about 4-5 £ an ampoule on private prescription.

Been buying the rest from Germany (much cheaper earlier this year) and have an accidental box of cyanocobalamin as well as some hydroxocobalamin for now. Don’t have any experience of the former myself yet, but it was easier to get. And I may have to use it. I feel for your situation.

We’re all getting anxious. I have heard China makes most of our vitamins and they are in a crisis right now as we know, and everyone’s supply chains ropey in EU.

We are super-crippled by Brexit.

Hi, i just purchased B12 from apohealth.de . I'm in France and can't seem to get Hydroxocobalamin here, so ordered for the first time. It has arrived in just a few days, and is exactly what i normally get injected with in the UK. I highly recommend them as it wasnt too pricey either.

I have just ordered from Apohealth for the first time. I am in the UK. I had to use PayPal as the website would not accept a British bank. The order has gone through, fingers crossed it arrives! In the past other pharmacies have cancelled my orders.

I tried to order from apohealth a couple of times recently always out of stock. Went to Amazon.de & ordered from Bienen apotheke 9th December told items dispatched. Followed tracking told had arrived in GB & given DHL track no. When I contacted DHL they say no parcel of that no.! Back to supplier contacted several times say delayed may still arrive. Feeling fobbed off. Has anyone used this company ?

Like Monbretia, I ordered from Amazon.de about two to three weeks ago. Yesterday I got a message that my order was returned to sender and to contact Amazon for a refund. So back to the drawing board! I had tried apohealth for several days so this time I went back to apotheke-marienbrunn.de. in Germany. I have given up on Pan Pharma and this pharmacy had Hevert. It seems expensive especially with the shipping to the US of $40. I ordered just two boxes of Hevert as I had received 30 ampoules of Pan Pharma just before they seemed to run out. At least the Hevert will have a longer expiry date; or at least I hope so. Anyway, this apotheke has worked for me. I don’t ever see it mentioned here so I thought I would continue to share. It’s interesting how apohealth has stock so very sporadically! I hope this helps someone.

Had no issue receiving a 50ml bottle of Alpha Food's Aktives brand of B12 via Amzn UK some weeks ago - ~£20, currently. Not sure if your order was for another German B12 brand. There does seem to be a good range of various B12 products available ( - from my consideration, some weeks ago); hope that helps.

Could you afford to go privately, to get a private doctor to tell your GP to reinstate your injections at a sensible interval (as a previous poster mentioned)? I went to a private Nuffield anaemia clinic (and others from this forum have also been there ), and the doctor there is extremely helpful and very understanding about PA / B12 D. I know that GPs would never agree to a frequency that most of us need, but getting reinstated to every 2 or 3 months may take a bit of pressure off? Do you have any private GPs near you? Other forum members have found local private GPs who are more clued up about B12. Good luck.
