Buying Hydroxocobalamin from Germany.

Hi to you all, thanks to the advice I received on here a few months ago I was able to purchase Hydroxocobalamin quite easily from a German supplier, it's has made a huge difference to my health. I'm self injecting once a month , supplementing my 3 monthly NHS dose.

My problem now is that I am unable to find a supplier with stock who is willing to ship outside of the E.U.

I even tried Amazon.de. but can only find Cyanocobalamin, which I have never tried and would like to avoid unless I have to.

Are some German based pharmacies still shipping to the UK?

Looks like you can still get Hydroxo from Amazon, if you go for bulk

amazon.de/Vitamin-B12-Depot...

Ok, thanks for that, I will take another look, I don't mind buying in bulk.

Thankyou so much for this link. I’ve been desperate to find a new route to get this medication. My doctor has been a nightmare and I’ve been surviving on 4 weekly injections which is not enough for me. Thankyou again.

Hello, I have found that bodfeld-apotheke.de is a very easy way to purchase VB12 by setting up an account with them (thats the most difficult part but google translate will be your friend), also set up international bank transfer with your bank and save the details for future use. Once ordered they will email you with their bank details for payment. Tracking of the order will be available when you log in so you can see the progress and they use DHL for delivery so you can track delivery. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply, I did try and order with them, set up an account with them and placed the order. Then I realized I couldn't pay by card or PayPal. They sent me something via email in German. I eventually managed to work out that they wanted a money transfer before shipping. If I have to I will go this route but I'm trying to keep it as simple as I can for me, I don't use internet banking.

How about Methylcobalmin the natural form used in the USA?

Porter5. Just to clarify…

All injectable B12 is manufactured - the idea that methylcobalamin is 'natural' is a myth heavily promoted on the internet by those who usually have some form of vested financial interest.

Methylcobalamin is less stable than other forms and has to be kept at a low temperature. It should be transported in cool packs - but rarely is - to maintain stability of the product.

Plenty of information about this on the forum if you'd like to do a search for other posts.

I have always used Hydroxocobalamin 1mg/1ml but there only seems to be 1mg/2ml or 1.5mg/2ml. I have been self-medicating since lockdown and tbh the GP is complete headache, even though I am totally 100% PA diagnosed (all I need is a junior doctor and they start thinking they know my body more than me, but hey another story). I am really not sure about deviating from my tried and tested and the 1.5mg is clearly not the one, but I am struggling to find the 1/1ml anywhere to buy.

bodfeld-apotheke.de only seem to stock 1.5mg/1ml and Versandapo.de versandapo.de/vitamin-b12-d... but this looks like the 1mg in 2ml to me.

Can anybody confirm if 1mg in 2ml is ok? Any ideas?
