Hydroxocobalamin supplies.

It looks as though the new owners of Panpharma are now concentrating on selling by repackaging their B12 for local sales. In UK its Accord Healthcare. This is probably why we cannot get it from German pharmacies. I cannot tolerate having my vital amine supplies threatened so I have looked elsewhere.

Hevert make a B12 depot that works. However its 1 microgram in 2 mls of fluid that I found to be slightly uncomfortable to inject. As its dated to be used by 06/2025 I have it held back for emergencies in the top of my fridge door.

Pasco make 1 ml ampoules that have 1.5 micrograms of hydroxocobalamin acetate and described as a depot which means its exactly the same as that sold by Panpharma - just a bigger dose.

EOD IM of Panpharma gave me an average of 0.5 micrograms a day by 14 injections over 28 days.

Plan A. Injections of 1.5 microgram Pasco on Mon/Wed/Fri gives me an average of 0.64 micrograms a day by 12 injections over 28 days.

Plan B. Injections of 1.5 microgram Pasco on Mon & Fri gives an average of 0.43 micrograms a day by 8 injections over 28 days.

Plan C. An injection of 1.5 microgram Pasco on Mon gives an average of 0.05 micrograms a day by 4 injections over 28 days.

I have been using plan A and its worked fine and I shall move to plan B in a months time then hopefully onto plan C in the summer of 2023. The clear advantage is the reduction in the need to inject so frequency. That saves time and reduces the amount of scar tissue plus the cost and environmental impact of syringes and needles.

Accord has been produced by panpharma for many years .I found this out 4 years ago .

So not a new thing .

However I understand your concerns with buying it from Germany 🇩🇪

I spent several hours today looking for Pan Pharma hydroxycobalamin B12 depot 1mg/1ml ampoules on every site listed and maintained on the reference list that Wedgewood and Jade so thoughtfully maintain. I could not find them available anywhere. I am in the US which makes it even more difficult.

It looks like Hevert may be obtainable for me (not sure yet) I am admittedly concerned about the increased amount of serum I would have to inject. Pascoe seemed to be available somewhere (can't remember now) but it seems like injected more serum is preferable to injecting stronger serum (I believe their is 1500mcg./ml. Any thoughts? Can anyone tell me what the ingredients are on the Hevert ampoules (besides Hydroxy?)

thank you. I don't really need any right now, but things are not looking good down the road. Here in the US there is now legislation to start "regulating" supplements (Big Pharma lobby at work here). With supply chain issues, new regulations etc. I am looking to buy the B12 before I can't any more. All I can get here is outrageously priced individual syringes of hydroxy or a 30mg/30 ml. vial all with the need to get a script from a doctor which brings in a whole new set of variables as most of the US docs think cyano is okay. It is not for me. I had anaphylaxis to it once and that was enough! Sigh...and I thought I had it all figured out.

thanks. I have been keeping a comprehensive list whenever anyone lists a new possible source and I am making notes on what the current status is. I guess my order from apotheke-marienbrunne.de in October was just in the nick of time. I bought 30. Wish I had bought 100.

Apologies if I have misunderstood you, but you write about micrograms when I believe you mean milligrams.

.05micrograms a day? And similar?

Please can you let me know - how do you know how many mcg you are getting from your injections?

I was told injections have a high absorption rate but I definitely don't feel like I'm getting 1500mcg when I injections.
