My recent blood test results:-
Serum vitamin B12 level 956 ng/L [197.0 - 771.0]
Above high reference limit
Interpretation of haematinics: tinyurl.com/BiochemInfo
Weblink also available via VoY RSS Pathology tab.
High B12 may be due to supplements or fortified food. High levels
can be observed in renal or liver disease.

Serum ferritin level 143 ug/L [30.0 - 260.0]
Interpretation of haematinics: tinyurl.com/BiochemInfo
Serum folate level > 20.0 ug/L [> 3.9]
Fasting sample preferred. Recent folate or high dose biotin
intake may mask deficiency.
See tinyurl.com/Biocheminfo for information about biotin

Serum folate results are unreliable for patients on Methotrexate.
I didn't take any B vitamins for over a week before the test.
I didn't eat anything before the test either
Also apart from having almond milk on my porridge which has some b12 in it and the occasional bit of yeast extract on rice cakes I haven't supplimented with B 12 for over a year.
Please could someone guide me on this?
Thank you very much.
