I suppose a matter of when not if, unlrss you've had s covid vaccination in the last 4 months.

We had a family gathering . Jubilee All did LFT the morning of meeting up.

All obviously negative.

Mainly in the garden. Meal at table inside with 2 doors wide open to the garden.

Named towels. Own mugs. .always like a miltary operation.

(Well I am a retired NHS worker.)

The first symptoms were like a cold. Then a scary night reminding me of my bad reaction to AZ vaccine. In Hindsight. At the time thought a vestibular migraine event.

Was well enough at that stage to do a food shop although was a struggle ....can be. As thought a cold.

I wore a mask ( thank goodness)

So others were protected. Which is why I don't understand why people don't to protect others .

A friend was visiting so did a test . Did 2 as couidnt believe positive. ! So no visit.

Still cross they masks not continuing as in my opinion a simple precautions and would save many this misery.

Day 10 and still poorly testing positive still.

So many symptoms remind me of past nasty b12 deficiency symptoms.

Fatigue on fatigue debilitating.

Extra being a dry cough . Sore throat fever.

Even forgot one of the cats names!!

salt I can taste but nothing sweet ....so odd nausea and the rest you are all aware of unfortunately.

On PAS there was an article on long covid relates to what's happening.

We are not 'out if the woods' in this pandemic.

Started Friday a.m to try and get a prescription.

Yesterday Monday a bizarre text asking for s photo of my 'covid mouth'

Then a phone call. Then a prescription. Then getting someone to get it!

I'm sure if treatment started 4 days ago I'd be better from that. . The sequence was no appts for a week ( tel)

No way a gp can be messaged.

Call 111 . I did after 20m they said call my surgery

Go to a and e !! With covid for a sore mouth !! Well NO ......

Pharmacist rang gps to no avail.

Full vicious circle ovef a simple prescription.

A tablet can be bought ovef the counter a topical application couldn't.??ones you can buy do not work.

Whatever the text books say.

With an ongoing b12 def/ PA

You are more affected and takes you back years with symptoms.

Take care everyone

Sorry to hear your poorly.I kept testing when I was last Ill and it kept coming back negative,it felt like a terrible flu I had and on reflection I don't get flu often maybe every five years and this felt exactly like flu. It’s taken me weeks to recover, still coughing a bit ,hubby was ok after three days he obviously has a better immune system than I do.

I increased my b12 shots which I think helped,

you are treated like a leper by medics,I really wasn’t bothered wether I tested positive or not what’s the point, you’ll get no help from the system.

We wouldn’t ,I hope, go out and infect everyone with a raging cold so common sense tells us if we have these flues or viruses stay home till we feel better.

Just rely on yourself Nackapan sorry to say but no one is interested the reality is for us there’s no help available and you have to get through it as best you can, otherwise it’s a hospital stay.Sadly your safer at home.xx

Yrs I had the 'flu' in March then April that was new. Tested negative then. Nasty but different from this.

Lots of unrecorded variants I think or immune system low??

I'm glad I tested ao could isolate .

Stop the spread and wanted to know.

Hope you are doing a bit better

Oh no! I'm so sorry! Sending you best wishes for a speedy recovery!!

I felt pretty low b12 as well when I got it in January - add in some extra jabs if you can. I think it took me 3 weeks to start feeling normal again. Your symptoms all sound similar to what I had.

I 100% agree with continued masking. I'm the only one who still wears them in the shops 🤷‍♀️

Rest up and get well soon deary!

Thank you

Covid spreading in this area, brother rang last week he wouldn't be over as four have gone down with it !Sister in law mother hospitalised, had TIA as well !

Very little help available from NHS, sent home !!

We always wear masks, but seem to be the minority now.

Hope you recover soon.

It makes me so flaming angry that this current 'government' (ha, thats a laugh!) removed all restrictions, the latest being you don't need to make in clinical areas!! We are now entering a new wave of a new variety and yet we have this?? Covid has not just 'got way' despite what others think. It's still very much amongst us and due to lax/no restrictions people will continue to re-infect themselves. There is no 'natural immunity and it's not just flue. Flu doesn't shrink Brian tissue after every time you get it (as recently reported), nor cause micro clots. Be wise. Mask up!

Yes I was suprised when a friend said no masks were being worn on their hospital visit for tests No masks on trains so silly when so simple

Statistics are not being done

A very risky strategy to play .

At who's cost ??
