advice re needle size

this must be a regular question, bother we go:

I bought some ampules of Vit B12 cyanocobalamin.

I am now unsure of which needle size to use draw from the ampule and then to inject into my thigh.

Can forum users give me advice on which size needles to order, and hopefully the best place to order them from?

Thanks in advance

I buy injection needles from medisave.co.uk I use a long coarse needle to withdraw the B12 from the ampoule —19 G x 1 1/2 inch. There are also blunt long needles for this purpose , with or without filter , but obviously more expensive . As I use the I.M. method to inject into the outer middle third of the thigh, I use a 25G x 1 Inch needle . If you use the subcutaneous method ( either into the front of your thigh or into the tummy ) then a 30G x 1/2 inch needle is appropriate . Best wishes "

Same here! 😊 I use the green needle (19 G x 11/2 inch) to withdraw the B12 and the orange needle (25 G x 1 inch) to IM inject. I buy mine from medisave.co.uk

For IM thigh injections I use a 25 gauge 1 inch needle. You can get them from your local pharmacy.
