PAS Newsletter Available & A Question

PAS has issued a new newsletter:

pernicious-anaemia-society....

I have a question though. I had clinical low b12 and positive GPC antibodies but doctor insisted that I call my condition autoimmune B12 deficiency rather than Pernicious Anemia…..can I take part in the research?

Hi,

Thank you for posting the link to the newsletter.

"can I take part in the research?"

You could contact PAS and ask them.

pernicious-anaemia-society....

Have you checked your medical records ?

GP called it Autoimmune B12 deficiency but it might be recorded as PA in your notes.

Some people access test results and medical records with NHS app.

I was intrigued by the mention in the newsletter of a GastroPanel® to help identify autoimmune atrophic gastritis.

I wondered if this was available anywhere in UK.
